The newest of the Linganore wine festivals will attract thousands of Linganore wine lovers, music fans, friends and families to picturesque Linganore Winecellars in the Mt. Airy, Maryland, just 39 miles from Baltimore/ Washington DC. At the 2nd annual Vine Rewind festival, guests can sample 19 featured Linganore wines- including the 2012 Best in Class Gold Medal Winner, Traminette- and take tours of their eco-friendly wine-making facility.
Rewind to your favorite decades-dance and sing along to hits from the past. Linganore brings 4 different bands to the festival to provide this trip down memory lane. Saturday, join The Leslie Avenue Band, https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Leslie-Avenue-Band/127904707279590?group_id=0, and Spiral, www.spiralband.net/, in the good times and Sunday rock out with All Natural, www.allnaturalband.com/, and the East- Coast premier 80’s tribute band, The Reagan Years, www.thereaganyears.com. The festival grounds open at 10am and music is from 12noon-6pm. Tickets are $20 for Adults 21+ and $15 for designated drivers or Activity Military (with valid id). Weisser Riesling
South African name for the true Riesling grape of Germany. Also called the White Riesling. The Cape Riesling, aka Paarl or South African Riesling, is actually the Crouchen grape that originated in the Pyrenees region of France and was relocated to South Africa where it can be legally sold under the name "Riesling".

Mill River Winery, located on Route 1 in Rowley, MA, is open Wednesday through Sunday 11am – 6pm. During operating hours you are able to sample their handcrafted wines, taste the specialty foods they have available and browse a great selection of wine accessories. Tours of the manufacturing facility are available upon request.
Located in a renovated 1800’s cider mill, the tasting room boasts a roughly sleek décor that mixes original wood beams, modern leather furniture and a tasting bar made from a 200 year old tree from Maine. In addition to the tasting room, gift shop and manufacturing room, a vineyard with apple trees and grapevines was planted in spring 2012.
