Olympic Cellars

Olympic Cellars Olympic Cellars is a small boutique winery on the North Olympic Peninsula owned & operated by the "Olympic Women in Wine." While we'd like for you to think we handle all the gazillion tasks of running a winery by ourselves, the truth is we can't. There's a dedicated crew of volunteers, friends, team members and, yes, our men, who help make the winery a success. The winery is located in a century-old barn where we produce limited quantities of award winning, hand-crafted wines: our premium wines, the La Dolce Vida label, our highly acclaimed WORKING GIRL wines and our Dungeness "Artist" series. We invite you to taste wine, sample Molly's chocolate sauce and browse our gift shop. We also host great musical performances and events, including our annual Grape Stomping Harvest Party.

  Blanc de Blanc
Our Blanc de Blanc or "White from White" is made from Chardonnay grapes. It is elegant, crisp, not too dry with a hit of sweetness.
  Cabernet Franc La Dolca Vida
Silver & Bronze Medal Winner - Our first Cabernet Franc & already a medal winner. Intense fruit & aromas of sweet spice with a soft finish.
  Cabernet Sauvignon La Dolca Vida
Silver & Bronze Medal Winner. Big, bold and bodacious! A wine for Cab Addicts! Starting with an intense rich color, coupled with aromas of oak, vanilla and dark fruit which come alive when you taste this rich extracted wine finishing with layers of sumptuous current, plum, wild berry and caramel in the mouth
Chardonnay, Barrel Select, La Dolca Vida
This barrel-fermented Chardonnay is clean, crisp and opens with bright delicious aroma of citrus, apples with will balanced oak.
  Cuvée, 2000
Classic Bordeaux blend, 47% Cab Franc, 37% Merlot, 16% Cabernet
  Dungeness Red
Our 100% Lemberger is known for its bouquet reminiscent of cherry cobbler, with tart, zesty acidity and big cherry notes on the finish. Pairs extremely well with Halibut and Salmon and food off the grill. Gold Medal Winner
  Dungeness White
Our best-selling semi-sweet Riesling. Intensely aromatic with loads of fresh juicy peaches & green apple notes.
  Go Girl Red
A lush little number. Blend of Merlot, Lemberger and a handful of spicy treats.
  Handyman Red
Big & bold, Bordeaux Blend. Pairs equally well with a cigar ... and, chocolate for us ladies.
  Honey & Lavender Wine (375ml)
Barrel aged for 4 years, this semi-sweet honey wine was cold infused with lavender. It is truely "Nectar of the Gods" with a delicate lavender bouquet & finish.
  Late Harvest Riesling
8.9% Residual Sugar, Harvest 27 Brix, bottle size 375 ml. Ripe & distintive, frankly sweet but beaurtifully balanced with accidity to bring out the ripe apricot, pear and wild honey suckle. We also detect a bit of Granny Smith apples on the fnish,
  Merlot Reserve La Dolca Vida
Another outstanding Merlot from our winemaker. Intense bright fruit with undertones of sweet herbs & spices.
  My Sweet Syrah
Similar to the French Côtes du Rhône (Syrah and Viognier), ours is 'Washington style' with Riesling. Port-like without the high alcohol: lush, smooth, a bit lighter than a varietal Syrah and semi-sweet.
  Rosé the Riveter
Rosie Rocks! A semi-dry wine perfect for the beach or a "carpet" picnic
  Syrah La Dolca Vida
Gold & Silver Medal Winner. Intense nose with flavors of red and black currents, with a genorous mouthful of dark berry jam. Our 5 p.m. drink of choice!
