Although "Butler" is an occupational name, it began with a slightly different meaning. In Medieval times, the Butler was the keeper of the cellar keys of large households and, therefore in charge of the wine. This was a position of considerable trust, and in that since, we "Butlers" thank you for your trust, as well as your kindred spirit. Enjoy the taste of this sweet lighter-bodied wine.
