Estate Bottled Chambourcin

Estate Bottled Chambourcin Wine Details
Price:

Description: These Chambourcin grapes were harvested by hand from our Lakeside Vineyard. Like the sails of the Corps’ boats, this wine was influenced by light winds coming off the water. It’s a moist gentle breeze carrying fresh fruity scents from the vineyard, with just enough strength to fill your sails… a fascinating trip of vivid color and intense flavor.

Varietal Definition
Chambourcin:
A french-american hybrid used to make red wines with fruity flavors and some herbaceousness. Grown in the cooler regions of Eastern U.S. and Canada. Decreasing acreages also found in Europe; due to stringent European Union rules these varieties cannot be blended with traditional varieties.
