Rated Outstanding by Stephen Tanzer. Good red-ruby color. Cassis, black cherry, licorice and bitter chocolate on the nose. Juicy, penetrating and sharply focused, with intense flavors of wild mountain berries and licorice. The firm but ripe tannins reach the front teeth. This vibrant, youthful cabernet needs at least four or five years of additional bottle aging and is built to last.
