Cayuga White

Cayuga White Wine Details
Price:

Description: Our first varietal is the Cayuga White which is a full-bodied wine made from grapes grown on our property. Once harvest and the fermenting process is complete, the wine is put in American oak barrels for up to six months to bring out the best of the grapes’ flavors. Because this is a full-bodied white wine, it is delicious any time of year and pairs nicely with both chicken/fish as well as red meat.

Varietal Definition
Cayuga:
A hybrid cross between the Johannisberg Riesling and Seyval Blanc grapes. Makes a fruity white wine of mild intensity somewhat similar to Aurore. Widely grown in the Finger Lakes region of New York State and other cool regions of North America.
