Description:
The 2004 Foppiano Vineyards Merlot Estate Russian River Valley was made entirely from grapes harvested from fully mature, 15-year old vines grown on the family’s Russian River Valley Estate. The wine is full-bodied and deeply colored. In the aroma, hints of mint and anise give way to pronounced blackberry and currant. A cedar and vanilla bouquet are matched with comparable character in the flavors from one year in oak.
