Description:
The Cynthiana wine grape (vitis aestivalis) is an American varietal that was cultivated by the Cherokee Indians and early European settlers. Also named Norton, the Cherokee called it "the summer grape" and used the wood of the vine in their sacred formulas and rituals. Today, many vineyards across North America have revived the cultivation and production of this unique American taste. Three Sisters Vineyards presents this handcrafted Cynthiana wine, aged in French & American oak, as a tribute to this great land. This wine displays notes of cigar box and caramalized black cherry. Pair it with lamb, game or even with a taste of dark chocolate.(162 cases produced)
