Ingleside Vineyards

Ingleside Vineyards Ingleside Plantation Vineyards is is one of the oldest and largest wineries in Virginia. It is part of a 3,000 acre estate which has been owned by the Flemer family for over one hundred years. Charles H. Flemer purchased Ingleside in 1890 and today one of his great-great grandsons is proprietor of Ingleside Winery. Hours: Monday through Saturday -10:00am until 5:00pm Sunday - Noon until 5:00pm, May through Oct, open until 6:00pm.

  Blue Crab Blanc
Apple, lemon, and honey flavors are prominent while being delicately balanced, soft and easy to drink. Recommended with crepes, cream based seafood dishes, crabcakes, and chicken. Perfect before and after dinner as well as for picnics.
  Blue Crab Blush
Fresh, crisp, wine displays rich, tropical fruit flavors with a touch of sweetness and a floral bouquet. Clean and well-structured, this is a medium-dry blush, making it a good food complement.
  Blue Crab Red
This medium-bodied wine has a delightful cedar and spice bouquet followed by flavors of strawberry, cherry, and mint. It's finish is soft with just a touch a sweetness.
  Brut Sparkling Wine
Delicately textured Methode Champenoise with crisp mouth feel. Enjoy as an aperitif or with fruit desserts.
  Cabernet Franc
A well-balanced red wine with clean and nice acid structure. The tannins are firm, and there is presence of oak. Hints of tobacco and coffee, with an underlay of cinnamon and cloves. Recommended with white cheeses, meats, and pastas with light red sauces.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
Full berry fruit with hints of chocolate and coffee, and a soft tannin finish; serve with red meats and semi-sweet chocolate desserts.
  Chardonnay
Classically dry with rich, generous fruit and lingering flavors of pear, vanilla, and toasty oak; styled for white meats, seafood, and pasta with cream sauce.
  Chardonnay Reserve
Rich fruit and balanced butterscotch with a vanilla oak finish; serve with seasoned seafood and poultry.
  Chesapeake Blanc
Crisp with a hint of oak; excelled with seafood, chicken or cheese.
  Chesapeake Claret
A soft Cabernet Sauvignon; Goes well with red meats, pasta and cheeses.
  Colonial Rose
Medium-bodied with hints of licorice and cherry, bright sweet finish. Serve with cakes and sorbets.
  Merlot
Elegant with cherry and mint aroma, and a balanced oak finish; ideal with lamb or beef dishes.
  October Harvest
Lively honey and peach aromas give way to a clean, sweet finish. Great for desserts and cheesecakes.
  Petit Verdot
The secret ingredient in many great wines. Once you taste it, you'll see why we couldn't keep it under wraps. Great with aged cheeses, duck, and robust meats.
  Pinot Gris
A dry white wine with delicate fruitiness and hints of citrus and peach. Food pairings are versatile, but generally recommended with grilled fish and most other seafood dishes, pasta with white sauces, cream soups, chicken, and turkey.
  Sangiovese
The classic Chianti. Ruby color with hints of blackberry. Perfect with Italian cuisine.
  Syrah
Nice spice, finishes with a bit of black pepper. Enjoy with Cajun or hot Oriental dishes.
  Viognier
Medium-bodied with a bouquet of tropical fruit and spice. Enhances soft cheeses and fresh seafood.
  Virginia Gold
A unique rich wine that will be the evening's highlight. A classic red wine for a classic meal.
