Blanc de Noirs, literally “white of blacks,” is a sparkling wine made primarily from dark skinned grapes. It’s a delicate balancing act to remove grape skins quickly after the grapes have been crushed to prevent the dark skin from transferring too much color to the wine. Rosé in color, our spectacular Blanc de Noirs boasts a bouquet of soft, ripe Pinot Noir fruit that gives the wine its directness, while a hint of Chardonnay gives the wine its power and structure.

Medium–bodied, our signature Brut Prestige boasts a beautiful rose petal aroma with touches of vanilla and melon, firm acid and crisp structure. Crafted by a careful selection from more than 50 separate vineyards, this wine exhibits aromas of white cherry, apricot, melon and biscuit. The tiny bubbles gently rise to the top of a straw yellow wine, with a light golden hue highlight. The individually selected lots were kept separate during initial fermentation in order to highlight their vineyard differences and make the most of their specific strengths, for a final blend of finesse, strength and harmony. The ripe fruit flavors that characterize the world–class grapes of the Napa Valley explode in the mouth with rich layers of fresh fig, cherry, vanilla beans, honeysuckle, wrapped in a round and creamy texture, and underlined by a crisp acidity and nutty finish.

Our most popular online release, Cuvée M Red is round, red, rich and fleshy. Dark ruby in the glass, Cuvée M Red has a gorgeous red wine nose of cassis, red plums and elderberries with hints of tobacco and cardamom. Think “red berries and cream” in the glass. Cuvée M Red is wildly versatile—pairing up with anything from BBQ to a holiday hors d’oeuvres spread. Outstanding with brie and a bing cherry chutney. Yum.

Demi-Sec is a wonderful dessert sparkling wine—deliciously light, fresh and fruity. Translating literally to “half-dry”, a fine Demi -Sec is crafted with a balanced dosage that provides a complex counterpoint to the natural acidity of the blend. Our Demi-Sec is rich, full and lush, with essence of orange blossoms, cantaloupe, citrus and a slight touch of caramel. A great complement to fruit, cheese and creamy desserts like creme brulée, peach or apple pie topped with whipped cream.

Our first single vineyard bottling from the Devaux Ranch in Carneros, this wine is 52% Chardonnay and 48% Pinot Noir. The Chardonnay provides a crisp acidity with citrus and apple notes, while the Pinot Noir creates a full body with berry characteristics. This wine has a beautiful nose of red apple, orange zest, fig, and strawberry. On the palate there are notes of cherry and white chocolate. 45 months of yeast aging in the bottle bring out nuances of fresh biscuit and toast, with a round and creamy mouth feel. The long finish is highlighted with flavors of ripe fig, red apple, and French vanilla.

The 2005 Gallery Collection Pinot Gris is complex and vibrant. A nose of white and yellow peaches, ripe melon, pear and apple is enhanced with hints of elegant white blossoms. Fresh and crisp in the mouth, with citrus, pineapple and melon flavors leading to a lingering, spicy finish.

The 2004 Gallery Collection Syrah offers concentrated black cherry and blackberry aromas, with hints of red licorice and peppery spice. Dense and powerful in the mouth, where velvety tannins surround a crisp structure. A long finish is marked by black currant and boysenberry tones perfectly balanced by toffee and nutmeg spice. Pair the dense flavors of this wine with rich Prime Rib roast or game.

The 2005 Gallery Collection Pinot Noir shows a clear, brilliant ruby red in the glass, with aromas of wild red and black berries over floral notes of violet and lilac. Flavors of red plum, raspberries and strawberries are complimented by earthy tones of licorice, cardamom and black truffle … leading to a long finish of silky tannins on a crisp structure. Pair the velvet texture and dense berry flavors of this wine with game birds, wild mushroom risotto, creamy pasta dishes or flavorful soft cheeses.

Grande Année translates to "Great Vintage," and is only produced in the very best vintage years where fruit shows excellent concentration and ageworthiness. The 2001 release is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Aromas of honeysuckle and ginger are highlighted by floran notes of violets and orange blossoms. The mid-palate is smooth and round, with crisp flavors of red apple, yellow peach, fresh fig and roasted almonds. The finish has nuances of biscuits, nutmeg and vanilla from 48 months of yeast aging in the bottle. Enjoyable now, the 2001 Grande Annee will continue to age gracefully for many years to come.

Superb red sparkling wines are relatively rare. But this Sparkling Pinot Noir has achieved the perfect balance between the depth and flavor of a full, complex red wine and the elegance associated with the style of méthode champenoise. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the Carneros region, it was initially handled as a still wine with the exception of slightly more whole–berry carbonic maceration, then inoculated and allowed to ferment until it reached a perfect balance between color, fruit and structure. The result is a deep ruby red fresh and fruity wine with less of the tannins normally associated with a still red wine. Aromas of ripe plum, with a touch of clove and cinnamon underneath, play beautifully on the strong bouquet of spicy cherry, light cranberry and chocolate.
