Pearmund Cellars Pearmund Cellars is located in the beautiful foothills of eastern Fauquier County, VA, conveniently close to Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. The 7500-square-foot geothermal winery and 20-acre vineyard produces Chardonnay, Viognier, Riesling, Late-Harvest Vidal, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Ameritage, and other Virginia wines. Perfect for your dinner party or business meeting, the Italian-tiled barrel room features Spanish antique-gold light fixtures and a barrel stacking system that is the first of its kind in the United States. The tasting room has a warm, friendly ambience for tasting and relaxing with a glass of Virginia wine. Outside, picnic tables are placed under large shade trees and beside our Chardonnay vines. Light fare, wine-related gifts, and local artwork may be purchased at the winery. Experience our unique wine tour and wine tasting, then picnic while surrounded by picturesque views on a farm dating back to the 1740s. Enjoy limousine, catering, and other services from our partners; extend your Virginia wine tour by staying at a local bed and breakfast or inn; or, if you cannot visit Pearmund Cellars, find our award-winning Virginia wine at a retailer near you. Directions
From Washington DC: I-66 take Gainesville exit 43, Rt. 29 south, towards Warrenton. Travel 7 miles, turn right on Rt. 674. Travel .25 miles and bear right at fork in the road. Travel 1 mile and turn left at Pearmund Cellars.

  Ameritage
Complex, integrated flavors of brambleberry, raspberry, cherry, and liquorice with a lengthy finish. Five-grape blend in classic Bordeaux style.
  Ameritage Reserve
Dark cherry, black currant, and herbaceous flavors. Balanced tannins with a lingering finish. Full-bodied and complex. Limited production.
  Cabernet Franc
Herbal aromas with touches of pepper and cherry. Dry, medium body with raspberry finish. Aged in French oak barrels.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
Spicy aromas frame cassis and dark berry flavors. Fully textured with a chocolate mint finish. 40% aged in new oak barrels.
  Estate Chardonnay
Warm, buttery flavor with hints of pear and apple. Full-bodied and lush to the palate. Aged nine months in French oak.
  Fletcher's Chardonnay
Chablis style: Dry with clean, crisp flavors. Aged nine months in French oak. No malolatic fermentation.
  Late Harvest Vidal
Apricot and peach aromas enhance complex tastes of honeysuckle and maple. Perfect for tomorrow's dessert.
  Lisa's Merlot
Fruity and floral aromas complement deep berry and soft oak flavors. Warm medium body with a herbaceous finish
  Malbec
Red raspberry aromas with layers of rich flavors. 40% aged in new oak barrels. Favorite at our futures barrel tasting.
  Petit Verdot
Small berries mean a high skin-to-juice ratio.Dark, slightly tannic red with a big mouth feel.Limited production.
  Redmund's Reserve Red
Bing cherry nose and fruit-forward flavors that bounce on your palate. Try in Sangria with affectionate playmates.
  Riesling
German style: Crisp, clean, citrus flavors with medium body and floral aromas. Look for honeysuckle sweetness.
  Vin de Sol
Old World Sherry style: non-fortified aperitif. Roasted almonds and pecan aromas complement dried apricot and butterscotch flavors.
  Viognier
Explosive tropical fruit flavors: Pineapple and peach with hints of grapefruit. Powerful, yet feminine.
