  Cave-aged Three Philosophers
On a freezing day each mid-winter, 280 cases of Ommegang ale are transported forty five minutes east of Cooperstown to the heart of "cave country." The beer is lowered 156 feet into the celebrated Howe Caverns. This is the only cave-aging of beer on American soil in recent memory. Forty meters below ground, at a constant temperature of 52 degrees F (12 C), Brewery Ommegang's Three Philosophers ale peacefully matures.
  Hennepin Farmhouse Saison
As you pour this rich golden ale into your glass, consider your surroundings. Are you in a restaurant? Outside on the deck? Is it hot and humid? Cold and brisk? Take a drink. Feel the way Hennepin is bright and lively in your mouth with a warming mix of spicy gingersnap and citrusy hops. Refreshing. Relaxing. It's true: no matter where you are, Hennepin is the perfect ale for all seasons.
  O’mmegang Stout
When the Belgians and Irish share a draft beer on St. Patrick’s Day, what do they drink? Ah! That would be O’mmegang Stout. It’s a fine dry stout, with a bit o’ both Ireland and Belgium in the brewing. Deep, dark, dry, malty, and at 4.6% abv, it’s easy to savor, easy to drink, and easy to share with family and friends.
  Ommegang Abbey Ale
Meditate on this dark ruby elixir. Breathe in its deep emanations of fruit and spice. Is that clove you smell? Licorice? Fig? Sip serenely as revelations of honey, toffee, chocolate and dark dried fruit delight your senses. Can a beer be holy? you wonder, and Where can I get a grail on-line? Ommegang, our first brew, was inspired by the centuries-old brewing practices of the Belgian Trappist monks. This burgundian brew gives off a variety of aromas, including plum and cinnamon, and packs in flavors such as caramel, toffee, and licorice. At 8.5% abv, it is known to cause spontaneous meditation.
  Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence
On October 13, 2007, at out Brewery Tenth Anniversary Party (Waffles and Puppets) we’ll introduce Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence Stout to the world. Chocolate Indulgence comes with a thick tan head of foam resting on top of the rich onyx-colored liquid. The aroma immediately speaks of dark chocolate and dark malts. The gentle herbal nose of Perle hops compliments the darker notes, making the beer savory to the senses.
  Ommegang Witte Ale
High, white, fluffy summer clouds. A soft breeze through a citrus grove. A heavenly bite of orange chiffon cake. All of these come to your mind as you lift our pale golden wheat ale to your lips. It's so soft, so light on your tongue, you think, as the tart lemon, bitter orange, and subtle spiciness of coriander arrive to round out the intriguing delicacy of this delicious ale. You smile, knowing there are five more of them in the fridge. Crafted for summer session drinking, is a traditional white ale, or witbier; pale in color, with a high, white frothy head and refreshing flavors of orange, lemon, coriander, and wheat. Witte is also Brewery Ommegang's first ale to be offered on draft.
  Ommegeddon
The world must have loved it because it’s disappearing quickly. It’s all gone from our warehouse and is all out in the distribution channels. If your bar or retail store doesn’t have it ask them to get it before it is totally consumed. We will brew it again but probably not until 2008. Ommegeddon is 8% ABV Belgian-style ale with a wild twist ¯ a dose of Brettanomyces yeast and a blast of dry hopping. It’s a strong blonde ale with a sharp citrus flavor that, like the other Ommegang ales, has a dry finish. Its dryness and funkiness begat the name of Ommegeddon ¯ for the time when the forces of light and dark battle for world dominion. It’s time for you to pick your side.
  Rare Vos Amber Ale
Named after a Brussels bar made famous as the starting point for bicycle and pigeon races, our Rare Vos Amber Ale is also a great place to begin your virtual taste test. As you pour, you'll notice the beautiful coppery-amber color and the rich creamy head. Lift the glass to your mouth and enjoy the aroma of spicy orange blossoms. Taste, and the pleasant mellow flavor of caramel malt glides easily into a dry, hop finish. Once you've finished, start again (after all, this isn't a race).
  Three Philosophers Quadrupel
Cynics can't believe it, Epicures hail it a sensation, and Pythagoreans just can't add up what makes this luscious blend of rich malty ale and cherry lambic so delightful. It might be the flavor of dark chocolate and cherry cordials; it could be the way it acquires wisdom and grace in the cellar. Maybe it's a conundrum. What's your theory? The essence of wonder is a unique and masterful blend of strong malty ale and authentic Belgian Kriek. Our philosophers deduce that this powerful marriage of cherries, roasted malts, and dark chocolate will only achieve more wisdom and coherence as it broods in the dark recesses of your cellar.
