  Cabernet Sauvignon
You’ll find a rich color and layers of traditional Cabernet flavors such as blackberry, chocolate and cola, with touches of violet and cassis. On the nose pleasant aromas of ripe cherry and cola spice are accentuated with black currants. The wine is juicy and full in the mouth with hints of coffee, toasty oak and dark fruits like plums. It remains a Cabernet that complements food instead of overpowering it. A Blue cheese melted across a bone-in New York Steak would be a great pairing choice.
  Chardonnay
Cool climate aromas of pineapple are an unexpected treat, followed by the more traditional Mendo green apple, with a twist of lemon and a touch of vanilla from the new French Oak. In the mouth, you’ll find a solid backbone with bold citrus and tropical flavors, balanced with a creaminess that lingers on the finish.
  Merlot
Dense mountain fruit brings hints of cedar spice on the nose with faint notes of wintergreen, cassis and bright Bing cherries. Savor the wine as you enjoy soft, yet defining tannins with good structure and integration, with unique cranberry/cherry flavors layered with vanilla spice, toasty oak and a near velvet finish.
  Muscat
In this vintage, delicate notes of honeysuckle and orange blossom dance lightly across opulent aromas of freshly baked lemon tarts, dressed with rose petals. The combination of lower alcohol and bold acidity offers a refreshingly bold and somewhat unexpected brightness from the wine. Enjoy as an aperitif or with figs, cheeses or fruit tarts to end a memorable meal.
  Roussanne
You are rewarded with well defined aromas of crisp green apple and pear kissed with notes of delicate honeysuckle blossoms and beautiful summer peaches. The fruity aromas are balanced with the inherent acidity of the wine that yields a distinctly mineral character and a flinty vitality with balance, complexity and a crisp finish.
  Syrah
Our vineyards, at 15 years, are just reaching their prime and you can see it reflected in the wine’s heady aromas of orange blossoms and intense bramble berry jam, overlaid with white pepper spice and a hint of black walnut. The tannins are velvety smooth, and layers of flavors highlighted by rich berry, hearty blackberry and chocolate stand with vanilla oak spice. This blend features a touch more Petite Sirah, making an already interesting wine that much more complex and beguiling.
  Viognier
Enjoy powerful aromas of fresh cut nectarines and white peaches, laced with floral notes of orange blossom and honeysuckle. Then taste the complex fruit flavors of apricot and peach, overlaid with notes of oak vanilla. The wine is crisp, yet creamy, a grand alternative to everyday whites, and one that pairs well with spicy dishes and unexpectedly with roast meats.
  Viognier
The beguiling grape Viognier is known for its aromatic bouquet featuring gardenias and honeysuckle. Our Bonterra Viognier highlights exotic fresh peach and apricot fruit flavors supported by just a hint of oak from barrel fermentation in French oak and lees stirring for 6 months. The resulting wine focuses on pure, ripe fruit flavors that are coerced through the organic grape-growing process. A sophisticated, delicious treasure.
  Zinfandel
Enjoy the wine’s aromas of red raspberry with hints of mountain blueberry and a touch of white pepper and cedar spice. As you begin to drink and enjoy the wine, you’ll find dependable Zinfandel flavors of rich plum, blackberry compote and mature, easy tannins.
