Sailing Horse Winery

Always the unconventional couple, it was no surprise when Rick and Debi left the city and became agripreneurs. Their hard work, a fancy for folly and a commitment to low-impact farming gave birth to Sailing Horse. Regular demonstrations of best practices (farming, winemaking and sheepherding) gives visitors a first-hand exposure to a balanced and diversified farming model. Rick and Deborah show that even former city folks can embrace the challenges of 'going rural' with a sense of adventure and humor. Come visit Sailing Horse Vineyards and Winery. Taste the wine, experience the sun, earth, wind and water…share the new agrarian life with us!
