Galluccio Family Wineries

Galluccio Family Wineries In August of 2000, Vince Galluccio became the proud new owner of the high profile and critically acclaimed Gristina Vineyards. As many Italian American families in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn, the Galluccios bought grapes and made a little home wine in the basement. Vince fondly remembers helping his grandfathers crush the grapes and tasting the fresh juice. With a strong commitment to quality, Galluccio Family Wineries continues to develop and secure the brand recognition and loyalty that the Gristina label has so well earned, while focusing on the introduction of new premium, hand-crafted wines. Vince Galluccio met Michel Rolland, world-renowned oenologist, at VinExpo 2001 and Rolland agreed to consult the winery. Vince set out to hire a production team that had experience and training in the old-world style of wine-making and vineyard management. So it was no coincidence that our production team consisted of Frenchmen, Bernard Cannac, Winemaker, and Bernard Ramis, Vineyard Manager. The addition of Rolland to the team was the next step in Vince’s vision to make premium hand-crafted wines on the North Fork of Long Island.

Galluccio Family Wineries is located right in the heart of the North Fork wine country between the villages of Mattituck and Cutchogue. LIE (495) east to exit 73 (last exit). Go five miles east on Route 58. At about mile five, Route 58 becomes Route 25 at the large, highway-like intersection with Route 105. Continue on Route 25 for approximately eight miles. Once you are in Cutchogue, look for the large "Galluccio Family Wineries" signs on the left.
