Vance Vineyard and Winery is a small, but growing, family-owned business. With eight acres now under cultivation, the vineyards are a visual delight. The beautiful clusters of Norton, Catawba, Chardonnay and Chardonel grapes will make your mouth water. We will double the size of the vineyard in the spring of 2007 by adding Vignoles, Traminette, Chambourcin and Reisling. We will also plant a variety of table grapes: Vanessa is a mild, fruity crisp red dessert grape; Marquis is a high-flavor white grape from the Geneva B.P.; and Venus is a gorgeous (of course) large, blue-black flavorful table grape.

Directions
From St. Louis area, go south on Highway 55 to 67 South and continue to the first Fredericktown exit. Stay on Highway 72 East thru town. Less than half-mile from the junction of Hwy 72 and Highway 00, turn left on Sargent Drive. At the end of Sargent Drive, turn right onto County Road 212. The vineyard and tasting room are on your left just over the hilltop - you'll see our signs. From Cape Girardeau, go North/West on Highway 72. Just at the outskirts of Fredericktown, turn right onto Sargent Drive. At the end of Sargent Drive, turn right onto County Road 212. The vineyard and tasting room are on your left just over the hilltop - you'll see our signs.
