Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards Winery, offers world class wines, lively conversation, fresh popcorn, and the friendliest staff in the Finger Lakes! All of these things await your arrival at the Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards tasting room. Known for it’s casual atmosphere, the tasting room is adorned with a wonderful collection of antique tools and memorabilia of days gone by. The Hazlitt family owns and operates the winery, founded in 1984. We are located on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake, one of the premier grape producing locations in the eastern United States. The family first settled here in 1852, beginning a long tradition of growing high quality grapes and tree fruit. This knowledge and tradition has been passed down for over 150 years to its current management, consisting of 5th and 6th generation Hazlitts. If you are looking for quality wines in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, be sure to include Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards as a stop during your trip through Finger Lakes Wine Country!

Directions
From the NYS Thruway-90 (Thruway Exit #41-Waterloo): Turn right after toll booths. Follow Rt. 414 to Rt. 5 & 20. Turn left at 5 & 20 (also Rt. 414). In village of Seneca Falls follow signs for Rt. 414 South. You will pass through Ovid, Lodi, and Valois. Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards is approximately 2 miles south of Valois on the left side of the road. We are located just south of the VLH Fire Department (large blue building). Driving time from Thruway is approximately 40 minutes From Route 17 traveling West: Take exit #42N (Watkins Glen). Follow Rt. 14 to Watkins Glen. In Watkins Glen turn right to Rt. 414 (Fourth Street). Travel approximately 9 miles on Rt. 414 North to the hamlet of Hector. Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards is 1 mile North of Hector on the right side of the road.

  Homestead Reserve Riesling
Grapes selected exclusively from our estate this wine opens with nectarine and gardenia and finishes with citrus and a solid mineral mouth.
  Lame Duck
A Native American grape blend of sparkling effervecense. The fruit literally jumps in your mouth of this semi-sweet wine.
