Chateau Frank

Chateau Frank Chateau Frank is the sister winery to Dr. Konstantin Frank’s Vinifera Wine Cellars, and was started by Dr. Frank’s son, Willy. While Dr. Konstantin Frank pioneered growing the noble European grape varieties in New York, Willy Frank is a leader in New York’s sparkling revolution using traditional methods and classic French champagne varieties, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. The fine wines of Chateau Frank have been served at the White House to honor The Governors of the States and Territories, are included on the wine lists of some of the best restaurants and hotels, and will no doubt add sparkle to your special dinners as well.

Directions
From South: Take US Route 17 to either exits 38 or 39 in Bath, NY and follow Highway 54 North to Hammondsport. We're located 6 miles north of Hammondsport. From Route 54A take the first left past Lucy Knapp Real Estate on County Route 76. From North: Take I-90 (N.Y.S. Thruway) to exit 42 and follow Route 14 South 7 miles through Geneva, NY and about 15 miles further South on Route 14. Take Route 54 West 4 miles to Penn Yan, then 54A to Branchport. From the Branchport blinking red light, turn left to stay on Route 54A. Go about 9 miles and turn right up Gibson Hill Road. Go straight through the Yield sign and turn left at the Stop sign (County Rt. 76). There is a Dr. Frank's sign there. Go about 1 mile to the next Dr. Frank's sign and turn left.   Chateau Frank Blanc de Blancs
Presenting typical complexity and delicate flavors, this wine exemplifies the traditional Blanc de Blancs style. A crisp acidity accompanied by citrus, floral and hazelnut aromas makes this medium-bodied Champagne very pleasant. Extended lees aging gives it noticeable yeast autolysis character with notes of toast and beeswax.
  Chateau Frank Blanc de Noirs
Chateau Frank, our sister winery, has released the Blanc de Noirs vintage 2000. This exceptional bubbly is made with Pinot Blanc and Pinot Meunier, two champagne varieties. This wine displays a green apple aroma with a clean, smooth finish.
  Chateau Frank Brut Champagne
This wine presents the classic characteristics of a French Champagne with its toasty yeast character, persistent foam and tiny bubbles. A great balance is achieved between the fruity contributions of the Pinot Noir and the acidic backbone of the Chardonnay resulting in a long clean finish. This wine shows great complexity with citrus flavors and mineral characters.
  Chateau Frank Célèbre (NV)
This delicious, fruity Cremant style sparkling wine made from the Riesling grape is a very inviting, easy-to-drink sparkling wine. Apple, honey and spicy aromas on a solid acidic backbone gives this wine a great balance and fruity forwardness. A touch of sweetness makes it the perfect celebratory sparkler.
  Chateau Frank Célèbre Rosé (NV)
This sparkling wine, made in the traditional dry French Rosé style, consists of 100% estate grown Pinot Meunier grapes. This Crémant style Rosé offers fruity rasberry and strawberry aromas with luscious ripe cherry flavors.
