DIRECTIONS: from East Bay / Sacramento:
Take Interstate 80 east to Highway 37 west (Napa exit) at Vallejo, turn right on Highway 29 north, go about 25 miles to Highway 128 (Rutherford Crossroad) and turn right. Proceed 2 miles to the Silverado Trail. At the intersection of Rutherford Crossroad and Silverado Trail, you'll see our sign. Drive straight across the road and you're there. DIRECTIONS: from San Francisco: Take Highway 101 north to Highway 37 east at Novato. Take the Napa/Sonoma exit east at Highway 121. Follow to Napa until you reach Highway 29. Take 29 north, go about 25 miles to Highway 128 (Rutherford Crossroad) and turn right. Proceed 2 miles to the Silverado Trail. At the intersection of Rutherford Crossroad and Silverado Trail, you'll see our sign. Drive straight across the road and you're there.

Rutherford Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon
Rutherford Ranch's 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic, rich wine with deep, ruby red color and aromas of ripe sweet, dark cherry and lush full blackberry. This wine is full-bodied and wonderfully complex. Flavors of raspberry, sweet red plums, blackberry and vanilla fill your mouth. Enjoy the creamy, toasted oak and hints of mocha with smooth tannins for a long, satisfying finish.
This classic Cabernet is excellent with all red meats, chicken and spicy dishes, such as curried lamb. Don't be afraid to try this with roasted duck for a wonderful culinary experience.

This wine shows fragrant aromas of black raspberries, cherries, cedar, spice and black pepper which are perfectly matched to the deep, rich raspberry and cherry fruit flavors. The medium, full-bodied texture is well balanced with a smooth blackberry fruit finish and a hint of sweet oak spice. This fabulous Zinfandel will pair nicely with spicier dishes and game.
