Tsillan Cellars Chelan Tsillan Cellars Winery and Vineyards is the crown jewel of the youthful, vibrant and rapidly growing Lake Chelan wine tourism scene. Tsillan Cellars, an Italian country retreat recreated on the gently sloping shores of deep water Lake Chelan offers a destination experience unique in the entire country. Named after a 19th century explorer who, upon hearing the native word for the lake, charted it as Tsillan, or "deep waters", Tsillan Cellars was designed and developed by Dr. Robert Jankelson to provide an unmatched venue to enjoy the Italian art of living enhanced by fine wines. More than a vineyard and winery, Tsillan Cellars rises from the burnt umber hills as a serene retreat from everyday life. An incomparable setting for wine tasting, socializing and special events, a place where every romantic will feel instantly at home.

Directions
FROM SEATTLE, Option 1: I-90 East (Snoqualmie Pass), 1.0 mile east of Cle Elum look for Wenatchee Exit to Highway 970 N (exit 85) toward WA-903 N Wenatchee. Turn left onto WA-970 E, proceed 35 miles over Blewett Pass to Highway 2, turn right, then approximately 15 miles to Wenatchee. Take Hwy 97-Alt toward Entiat/Chelan, proceed 33 miles north to the shores of beautiful Lake Chelan. The manicured vineyards and Tuscan winery will appear on the right at 3875 Highway 97A three miles before downtown Chelan. FROM SEATTLE, Option 2: I-5 to US-2 East toward Snohomish/Wenatchee (Stevens Pass). Take Hwy 97-Alt toward Entiat/Chelan, proceed 33 miles north to the shores of beautiful Lake Chelan. The manicured vineyards and Tuscan winery will appear on the right at 3875 Highway 97A three miles before downtown Chelan.

  Bellissima Rossa
"Playing off the winery's Italian theme, this blend whose name translates to "Very Beautiful Red" is a tasty Bordeaux-style blend with aromas of savory herbs and flavors of ripe raspberries, cherries and hints of chocolate. A delicious and easy-drinking wine." - Wine Press NW. Comprised of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.
  Bellissima Rossa
51% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Cabernet Franc aged in French Oak. A bouquet of blackberries and cedar leads to flavors of vanilla, bittersweet chocolate and a hint of nut make this full bodied wine truly a "Beautiful Red".
  Cabernet Franc
Deep ruby in color, this wine displays aromas of cedar-wood, pencil shavings, an vanilla from 14 months of maturation in French Oak. Black currants and dark chocolate are also present. On the palate soft and gorgeous fruit pairs up with velvet tannins. 196 cases produced
  Chardonnay - CV
Chablis in color indicating cool-climate fruit, the 2005 CV Chardonnay is thick and textured due to gros lees maturation with monthly stirring. The well-integrated oak allows the tropical fruit, citrus zest, freshly baked bread and buttery malolactic characters to shine through, whilst contributing a light toasty nuance to create depth and balance aromatically. The finish is bright and persistent providing balanced acidity and direction. 426 cases produced. Silver Medal – 2007 San Francisco Chronicle
  Estate Riesling
Alsatian in style, the 2005 Estate Riesling was created to reach out to true Riesling fans. Almost dry, this wine is rich and bright displaying lime sherbet, grapefruit rind and mineral aromatically, which come forth on the palate. Focus and direction allow the fruit to be carried effortlessly from attack to finish. Its mouth-watering acidity invites another sip!   Lemberger

  Merlot
Dark ruby/garnet in color, the 2003 Merlot exhibits sweet vanilla, eucalyptus and bright red fruits aromatically with nuances of prune and fig. Additionally, its 21-month maturation in French oak has given it an almost mocha/roasted coffee bean element, which contributes to its complexity. Rich and velvety, these flavors come through and meld nicely on the palate, which lends to a clean and persistent finish. 450 cases produced. GOLD Medal – 2006 Tri Cities Wine Festival.   Methode Champenoise
Sweet apples, pears, and citrus. Accents of roasted almonds and minerals from 3 years of aging. The style is elegant, dry, and crisp. Enjoy now through 2008. Cheers
  Pinot Noir
Typical color of young Pinot, this wine offers cherry pastry, smoke and vanilla aromatically with the unique “Pinot” character still a bit subtle; although not shut-down completely. Round and generous on the palate with an almost silky-type texture, this should be served slightly chilled (60-64F) to enhance the fruit profile and balance acidity. 250 cases produced
  Red Mountain Merlot
Crimson red in color with a brick-toned hue, this wine is mature and ready to drink. Aromas of mocha, plum pudding, cigar smoke, and snap pea explode from the glass.
  Riesling
Pale straw in color w/ a hint of green, the 2004 estate release displays the elegant side of this varietal. The forward sweet aromas of white peach and pineapple produced by cool fermentation are combined with the clean, fresh nuances of mineral and yeast by sur lees aging.
  Sangiovese
This 2003 Southern Oregon Sangiovese is filled with aromas of dried cherries, vanilla, leather, and truffles. Dry and age worthy tannins and fruit dance on the palate giving this wine a pleasant finish. 80% Sangiovese Oregon, 5%Merlot Red Mountain WA, 10% Cabernet Sauvingon Columbia Valley WA, and 10% Cabernet Franc Red Mountain WA.
  Syrah
GOLD MEDAL 2005 Jerry D. Mead New World International Wine Competition. Katy Perry has crafted a smooth, soft Syrah that delivers toasty oak, vanilla, cherry and hints of blackberries. Delicious for a Chelan summer barbeque.
