  Cabernet Sauvignon
With large re-plantings throughout Sonoma County over the past 10 years, we're reaping the benefits of the new clones of Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are producing darker wines that have concentrated fruit flavors with smooth ripe tannins. In addition, we are now sourcing new plantings of Cabernet Franc with improved trellis systems, which tame the natural vigor of the varietal, producing higher quality grapes. Aromas of black current, blackberry, licorice and black pepper are highlighted by spicy oak nuances. The flavors echo the nose and are delivered in a medium-bodied mouthfeel that has supple texture and shows a great spicy character on the finish.
  Calcaire Chardonnay

  Flintwood Chardonnay
100% Chardonnay from Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley. The wine was barrel fermented in François Frères French oak barrels, aged sur-lie for ten months, and completed 100% malolactic fermentation. The nose offers aromas of lemon, lime, and citrus blossom highlighted by a well-integrated bouquet of smoke, toasty oak and buttery caramel. The palate has a bright fruit-driven entry that leads to a big fleshy mid-palate and finishes with long, toasty, sweet oak impressions. The flavors are balanced throughout with a crisp acidity that will allow the wine to benefit from a longer bottle aging time. Flintwood is ideal with seafood of almost any kind. But when topped with a citrus sauce, seafood makes this wine sing. With its toasty oak flavors, Flintwood is also an excellent companion to veal or pork, especially when served with a cream sauce.
  Malvasia Bianca
Malvasia Bianca is one of the most unusual white wines we produce. Part of the Muscat family, it is hugely aromatic – with fresh floral notes of rose petals melding with perfumed orange rind and tropical fruits… overlaid with exotic ginger, nutmeg and spice. The grapes were hand picked on October 21 from a single vineyard in the Russian Valley called Richard’s Grove. We fermented the grapes at cool temperatures in stainless steel to capture the vivid flavors of this wine – fresh ginger, spice and honey combine with Fuji apple, crisp acidity and grapefruit zest on the finish. Notice how this complex wine leaps out of the glass. Superb with Asian-fusion cuisine with a little heat. Only 500 cases were made and available only at the winery.

  Rosé
We are proud to introduce the first vintage of Clos du Bois Rosé. Inspired by the dry rosé wines of Southern France, Winemaker Erik Olsen captured the vibrance and elegance typical of the best examples of this style, while creating a wine that is true to the essence of Clos du Bois Classics: wines that are both refined and accessible. Redolent off fresh, wild strawberries and ripe watermelon, this bright, delicately floral wine tap-dances on the palate. The structure is crisp and fresh, full of rich, juicy strawberries and raspberries with a hint of melon. A fine seam of minerality underlies the fruit, while the finish is long and refreshing. One of the most versatile of all food wines.
