Located in some of the Midwest’s most fertile farmland, Vahling Vineyards opened October 2002 as Shelby County’s first winery. From their 2.5-acres vineyard, the Vahlings make small batches of wine from Niagara, Worden, Frontenac and other grapes. In salute to their roots, their Prairie White and Prairie Dawn wines are named after Prairie Township. Hours:Open Thursday through Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
